Subversion have a huge list of features what you can get from here. But i have not enough time to read the big list. So in short, subversion is a system which helps developer to backup and recovery(extreme feature) their code time to time. Tortoise SVN is a good subversioning system for windows. Easy to install and use.
Why we use SVN?
Best and attractive feature what i found is Checkout and Commit. Let me explain more. While i am working in a project i change a number of files in different folder. So when we need to synchronize with server we need to enter individual folder and upload files through FTP. Or whatever it’s local office development when multiple (or even single) developer engage in a single project. For all easy way to do this task is : just enter into project folder (eg. htdocs/my_project) now click SVN->Commit. a list of changed files displayed and you can easily check which files you wish to commit. Moreover, you can put a comment for your change. Someone in other end can easily receive these files by SVN->Checkout. He will notified what changes made by whom. It’s the cool feature and a lot more. So lets try to install and use it first.

First download it from here
How to setup ?

In Windows explorer, make a directory where you would like the SVN repository to be.
Right click on the directory you just created, then scroll to TortoiseSVN > Create Repository here…
You should get the following pop-up window:
pop up window. if not appear, don't worry

Choose the file type you would like and click OK.
How do you know it worked?

You should get the following message:

Ok message

Import the project into the SVN repository

Go to your work area in Windows Explorer. Right click on the directory you just created, then scroll to TortoiseSVN > Import…

URL of repository should be blank first and then press right tiny button

Click on the button in the top right to browse for the location of the SVN repository that you just created. Once selected, add a “/trunk” to the end of the file location. Enter “initial import” in the Import Message field. Click OK

How do you know it worked?

You should get output as follows:

output

Start using the SVN files in your work directory

To use the SVN repository, we’ll actually want to checkout the files in an empty directory – SVN needs an empty directory to start.

Using Windows Explorer, rename your project directory from aminul_stull to aminul_stuff_backup . Create a new work directory named aminul_stull Right click on the directory you just created, then scroll to TortoiseSVN > SVN Checkout… In the pop-up window verify that the “URL of repository” has the location of the SVN directory that you created; if not, browse and select it. Make sure you have /trunk added to the raw location. Click OK and you should get the following window:

ok window

When you go back to windows explorer, you should now see a green check mark next to the directory.

What about abroad?

What’s our BD conditioin: a lot of unemployment + low paid employement. As a result if anyone can move abroad that’s good for two reasons:

1. A competitor reduced from job market which mean un-employed peoples are happy.

2. The person who move to abroad is financially better then BD which mean he’s happy(happy doesn’t mean peace, that’s different thing), his family is happy with him, his relative and friends as well.
3. Foreign revenue earned every year which mean BD economy will become profitable.
these are the reason why peoples are interested to go abroad. Now let’s say mr X went abroad. what he can do? he will do any of these options
1. Earning and earning. Not a single second to look beside and never think for search a position for others. This is the most common scenario. Absolutely perfect because he/she went there to earn. (may be 80%)
2. Earning and earning and look beside (mostly not behind or search else where) for job for others. Moreover they search and place job for free. This is few peoples do(may be 20%)
3. Earning and searching positions for others to locate themselves. These are business mentality peoples.
Okay fine. Now success rates and result of peoples moved to abroad.
Cat 1: 0 person/year
Cat 2: 1/2 person/year
Cat 3: at least 6 person/year
Category one people’s are totally busy with earning. So let them earn and deduct from our list. Now Category 2 and 3 are only considerations. Category 2 people help others for free. They are really really excellent people without any doubt. But their capability is limited up to 2 persona/year. They can’t increase it for number of good reasons. These are: they take it as free time work which is 100% perfect. People at abroad pass less free time then us. Finally category 3 people doesn’t work all day long. They earn money by themselves for food and basic need(including savings). They create some free time for searching some vacant employment where they can place some people from BD. Surely they are most selfish because they don’t do it for free.
To give you an idea, lets say Y company need some executives. and Mr Cat 1 people have no interested about. As a result they know nothing about employment of others. Cat 2 people’s are interested because they like to help people. They consider it as pray(no doubt help others to employed is best help then any other). As a result Cat 2 email/call for detail information. Same thing happen for Cat 3 peoples. But they are not only to help others but also earn some(earning is their first goal then help). Well !! both Cat 2 and 3 got a chance, after the phone call they understand they have 50-50 chance to placement some people into that company. Moreover, they also understand if he/she go over there and try to negotiate with them then their chance will become 75%. Cat 2 people have less free time then Cat 3. In addition, going to Y company does not only kill time but also money. For Cat 2 it’s totally wastage(if he don’t have enough money in his pocket he start thinking like Cat 1). And Greedy category 3 go without any doubt. Because he get a mine and he knows if he can dig properly then it will return him Gold.
As a result, finally Cat 2 able to get one person contract and Cat 3 get 5 person contract. About finance, Cat-3 invest and get return many times. Cat 2 earn someone’s thanks and pray from heart. Cat 3 peoples are selfish but intelligent. They earn money and thanks (not sure about pray) from more peoples. They consider everything as business. Like he/she can help limited number of peoples for free but more peoples with some benefit of himself.
Yes Cat 2 is great person but BD may be appreciate more Cat 3 peoples rather then Cat 2 because BD can’t provide job to productive peoples. That’s why they prefer Cat 3. This is very true: Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3 all went abroad for money.
Now which category do you prefer? Cat-1, Cat-2 or Cat-3 ?
Let’s consider another scanario: “what’s about those people who sales there lands and come to abroad and earning only 10000/- tk and also they have to take food from this money ,at the end of the month they have only 2000 tk to send for their family.
Hhhhmmm It’s a critical one. People are divided into two groups both positive and negatively. But from my point of view, when people migrate? Either he is an expert in his field and looking for better opportuinity then current or he can’t do anything good and think if he/she can migrate he can earn a good amount. First category peoples are really less amount then later one. However, think people who sale his land and think for abroad? This is that person who have almost no ability to earn or limited earning which is not enough to fullfil his basci needs. Moreover, he thinks if he can migrate he can earn good amount(what he have heared from others). Fair enough thinking. But the real situation is roude then imagination and he have only 2,000 TK at end of the month for his family. Yes this is the real scanario. This person when lives in home country he wasnt’ productive and known to all a lazy person(who’s maximum earning is 2000TK). So at least migration make him industrious. Moreover, this industriousness teach him hard work which is real achievement for his entier life.
Now another point of view is country. Yes when this person lives in home country he considered as unemployed. Sometimes government have to pay(whatever small amount it is) his welfare (like medical). But when this person is in abroad government dont’ need to think about his welfare. Moreover, every month 2,000 TK earned as foreign revenue and government must feel proud(i don’t know who actually feel it) for him.
Finally in conclution, only those person’s who are not industrious like to relocate themselves by sale their land. Pay your time to investigate they sale their last piece of land for abroad but this is not their first sale. Where is the former sales money? I don’t know but can guess to fullfil basic need. For this person bd earning = savings in foreign (2000Tk which he send to his family). So ultimately government benifited with foreign revenue and for that person simply nothing except INDUSTRIOUSNESS. Yes this achievement can drive him to right direction with earning to meet his basic needs.
